We normally think of succession planning for employees. While this is essential, sometimes we overlook the company’s owner(s). The reality is that changing the owner(s) will have a major effect on all stakeholders. A seven step process will be presented: discussing various valuation and Cash Flow methods, how to make the business more valuable, and more importantly, what role will Finance personnel play in assisting the owner to achieve an exit?
